Supplemental Materials Like Courseware Access Codes Access Issues
Publishers often include supplemental content outside the eTextbook you access through our Bookshelf application. They will do this by providing you a specialized code to access that directly on their site, or will provide a link that will take you directly to that content.
eTextbook Resources
Each publisher provides supplemental materials differently and there will be instructions within the eTextbook if there are provided resources.
Publisher Courseware Access
Courseware is access to learning material additional to the eTextbook, or the eTextbook is provided on a publisher's site integrated within a learning platform. If a code is provided it requires redeeming on the publisher's website.
If Bookshelf is not indicating that the eTextbook has courseware or is a courseware code, confirm you bought the correct material and that it includes a publisher access code.
What if the courseware code doesn't work?
- Make sure the code has been entered correctly.
- Check for typos, extra spaces, and the correct capitalization before moving on to the next step.
- Publisher access codes are course-specific and are redeemed on the publisher's website.
If your publisher access code still does not work after you have entered it correctly, contact the publisher's support team for help. They can confirm whether the code is valid, whether your course ID is correct, or whether there is an issue setting up your access on their platform.
